Gordon has maintained a graphics arts interest since working at Brebner Print in the late 1970s and trades as Gordon's Grafix. Much of the graphic art undertaken in the last 20 years has been in support of his Storytelling business 
and was particularly focused on his brochures and publications. This graphic art focus is now directed towards Web Development and continues to support his publications.
In the late 1990's, Gordon began driving for Bay Tours on their Wine Tours and Coach Charters. He worked as a part time cellar door attendant at Alpha Domus Winery and presently drives coaches part time for Coachlines Hawkes Bay.
Gordon has also had a variety of other minor jobs ranging from wine waiter to Stage Manager over the past 25 years
